  We are looking for experienced Life & Health ProtectionUnderwriters to join the team.   As an Underwriter at Guardian your day-to-day will vary greatly with your day-to-day tasks including: - Effective and prudent assessment of risks that are processed within operational underwriting - Providing thorough and robust justifications of decisions and referring cases to third parties including CMO and re-assurers - Managing customer expectations and portraying Guardian’s high standards and underwriting services - Providing retrospective underwriting of cases for the claims area and claims committee - Driving efficiency improvements to reduce cost required to service new business and in-force book, including internal initiatives within the team as well as supporting cross-company projects.
